This is an early fruiting variety. A very vigorous bush with fruit that clusters like grapes with waxy almost velvet like skin. Easy for picking. Blueberry (Vaccinium) ?Patriot? is a deciduous shrub with oval leaves that turn a gorgeous in autumn. Eventual height and spread: 2m (6ft).

Plant in a sheltered spot in a well-drained but moist, fertile soil in full sun or light shade. This is a hardy plant that can take a bit cold
 
 
 
Planting
Soak the root-ball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the root-ball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established.
